Deposit Certificates can be applied for by existing HSBC customers or the power of attorney of existing HSBC customers.
How do I apply?
Apply via Mobile banking customer service or HBCN hotline or you can visit an HSBC branch with valid identification documents. HSBC will not accept any applications by mail or fax.
Purpose
Frozen Deposit Certificates are only to support visa applications for overseas travel, family visits, overseas study, business trips or immigration. They cannot be used for guarantees, pledges or other purposes.
