Transfers and remittance

You can make general, real-time, future-dated or recurring transfers via the HSBC Mobile Banking app. For renminbi transfers to third-party accounts of up to RMB50,000 per day, there's no need to use the Security Device and the money will be transferred instantly.

Here's how you can do it:

1. Go to 'Home' page, look for 'CNY transfers', select 'CNY transfer'.
2. Tap on 'From', enter 'Amount', then choose 'My Payee' - 'Transfer type'.
3. Enter your mobile banking log on password and the SMS verification code. Confirm the transfer details to complete the process.

If you haven't saved the payee yet, you can enter or scan the receiving account number, select the payee's bank from the list and enter their name. Then follow the instructions to generate and enter a Transaction security code to successfully add the payee. Next time, you can directly select this payee in 'My payee' to make transactions.

• You can log on to HSBC Online Banking and follow these steps:

1. Go to 'Transfer and Currency Conversion' in the 'My Banking' section.
2. In the new transaction page, select multi-currency savings account as outward account, then choose foreign currency account linked to other country / territory under 'My accounts' as inward account.
3. Verify and confirm the details to complete the transaction.

• You can also log on to the HSBC Mobile Banking app to make transactions.

• You can log on to HSBC Online Banking, go to 'My Banking' - 'Transfer and Currency Conversion'.

1. In the new transaction page, select multi-currency savings account as outward account and 'New payee' as inward account, then enter the payee's bank details.
2. Add the payee's personal details.
3. Enter transfer details.
4. Enter the Transaction security code you've generated using your Security Device. Read and agree to the terms and conditions. After verifying the transaction information, click the 'Confirm' button.

• You can also log on to the HSBC Mobile Banking app or follow and bind your account with the HSBC China WeChat Service Account to make transactions.

• After registering for online banking, log on and select the 'My banking' option, followed by 'Manage Personal Internet Banking limits' to adjust your transfer limits.
• You can also log on to the HSBC China Mobile Banking app, tap on 'Quick actions', followed by 'Card & account settings' to choose the account you need to adjust the transfer limit for. Finally, select the 'Daily transfer limits setting' option to set the limit with your Security Device.

Please note: Your daily transfer limits are restricted by the limits set by us and yourself.
